Ozone Therapy

Posted by NewQuestions on June 15, 2009, at 8:40:47

People have suggested that taking and withdrawing from SSRI's is a form of traumatic brain injury. I have read that people with traumatic brain injury benefit from ozone therapy. Apparently, blood is removed, mixed with ozone and put back in body. Anyone tried it?

Well, ozone therapy of various kinds is experimental and alternative, but people are anecdotally finding it very useful in treating Lyme disease and Autism. The same kinds of things are happening with Hyperbaric Oxygen chambers. Normally intended for burn or stroke victims, they are experimentally giving some remarkable results to all kinds of things. I believe both ozone and hyperbaric are way ahead of their time though. Too bad. It will probably be a decade before we see them tested, accepted, and routine.

People have been completely cured of Lyme with these things. I cannot think of anything more traumatic to the nervous system than Lyme. So if it works on that, I'm sure it has good pottential in a lot of psychiatric areas. So early in the game, we don't know what the risks are, if any.

I'm sure it would be expensive.
