Bud...
Just tell them what *you* want. Say you just want your gp to look after you, and the rest can buzz off. I have an *amazing* gp who has helped me way beyond and above. I feel like I have been blessed with his care. There are no limits to his compassion, and he knows I am quite intelligent regarding medications, and if I have to go see him every single week...or twice..or three times...a week, he would have no problem in the world with it. He is a "fairly" young guy (well..as old a "man" like me..lol..I think you and I are not too far off from age, so I "feel your pain" man!!)..it's just so nice....and I hope you can find this Manic with a gp. Best wishes to you bud...

I would meet with your therapist and hear her out. She may have some good ideas. You could also use her as a sounding board for some of your own ideas.
