Maois And Restaurant Food

Posted by bulldog2 on January 18, 2009, at 18:02:45

Are there any maoi users here who eat out? Are hamburgers safe or steak sandwiches? Are pickles and hot pepers safe?
What foods do you find safe and what do you avoid?

I have not had problems w/ burgers or steaks, but you do want to have some idea how prepared if anything is unusual. I love crabcakes but find they are hit or miss when they check ingreds against the restricted list I carry on a card. Often need to ask for no cheese on salads.
Watch for liquors in desserts.
I tend to avoid soups unless I'm sure of homemade and ingredients.

all I can think of at moment...

Hey BullDog,

You are worried about this food chart, eh? It's really not bad at all. As above, its mainly watching out for those aged cheeses. I believe the liquor is okay now. Even in dessert. Just dont drink draft beer! I had something with beef boullion in it the other day and I was fine (they added that, too).
