ok i go to the hospital monday, to see the shrink as you no we dont get on to well, if he agree,s to the zoloft im hopeing he will, whats the best way to change over , im on 40mg of cybalta it keeps me just 50.50 . i didnt try to drop more as i am not certain what the nob is going to do.so lets say he gives me zoloft , do i need to taper an how, or can i do a straight change, an if so how much to match 40mg of cym.i dont trust the shrink he may go for to much if he is like the last. help me out guys an dolls

I switched from 60 mg Cymbatla to 100 mg Zoloft with absolutely no side effects. It was very smooth.

I've always done complete switching also. Love Phillipa not knowing much about this issue never had a problem. That's me though can't speak for others.

when you did the switch from cym to the zoloft how did it go, was it the right change for you

I switched over a month ago, the switch was smooth as could be. I am getting partial response from it, which is more than I had hoped for, as often when I retry a med it won't work again. I could have full response, but I'm so sick with the flu I wouldn't know!! Zoloft is my all time fav when it comes to AD's.
It definitely was the right decision to switch. Cymbalta and my brain didn't play well together. Had some bad rage episodes with it..
