Ok. So first the good news,I asked for my formal diagnoses today and while I had to push to get them, they are just Treatment Refractory Depression and A.D.D. No personality disorder diagnoses, but an indication in the direction of borderline tendencies.
On that note, I also addressed my medication. I was recently bumped to 40 mg. of Prozac which I noticed has been working VERY well. In fact, making me a bit hypo-manic.
HOWEVER, the benefits from Vyvanse have dissapeared. My concentration, patience and ability to stay on task are at all all time low. I can even tell when I've taken it.
IS THIS NORMAL?
I am considering asking to switch from 70 mg. of Vyvanse per day back to my old routine of 20 mg. Adderall XR in the morning and 10 mg. IR in the afternoon. Will this perhaps be more effective? I am very worried about my school work.

I have been on the Vyvanse about three weeks, and have noticed that the longer I am on it, the less I feel it works. This is unlike Adderall. I'm not talking about the euphoric effects, which go away for both, but instead about the effects on core A.D.D. symptoms that should be continuous.

I'd say a call to the pdoc is definitely in order. Phillipa
