I've been on Lamictal 300 mg for about 9 months. I started Nardil a couple of months ago and am taking 75 mg.
For the last week or so I've been experiencing muscle fatigue. Not muscle soreness or aches, like when you have the flu. Mine is more of muscle fatigue, it only hurts when I use the muscle. It's just like if you were working out and near the end your muscles experience muscle fatigue where they get to where they start burning. For instance, if I have to use my arms like in making the bed, they become so fatigued they start getting weaker and weaker and burning so I eventually have to put them down.
Has anyone else experienced this on Nardil? I doubt it's the Lamictal as I've been on it for so long. I automatically thought that was it but after searching for side effects online I don't see anything like that.
Thank you!

I had this problem with Lamictal. I had been on it for 2 months with no problems and then started to experience progressively worse muscle aches and joint pain.

Mickapoo,
I had muscle aches when I took 75 mg/day of Pfizer's Nardil (the "new" U.S. version). The aches were especially bothersome in the lower back. It's hard to remember exactly what it felt like because I haven't taken Nardil in over two years, but I remember having some difficulty walking because of it.
Lowering my dose to 60 mg/day reduced the severity of the muscle aches, but also reduced the quality of the antidepressant effect that I was getting.

I had muscle ache and joint pain while taking lamictal, as well as a bunch of different medications. Also, had major cognitive problems so watch for those, e.g., verbal and memory skills.
If you come up with a solution to the muscle ache, let me know!

I've been on Nardil since the middle of August and have experienced joint/muscle pain, especially in my knees.
