I've been on Vyvanse for about 1 month now. Started at 30mg, for 30 day. It did not have much effect. My doctor told me to take 2 of 30mg daily.
The next session he prescibed me 70mg for 30. I've been on it, but it really for me is not helping. I do notice some improvement in organizing, but its not doing the trick, completely.
I have still about 20 left of 70mg, i'm going to see the doctor on again in 2 day. I have heard of 50mg in the early morning and 50mg in latemorning. Which is 100mg, and i read that on the net that some people are prescibed 100mg but its rare. But i dont know if he will up it to that much, i have attention problems that affect my everyday living and i cannot cope with alot of stress.
I talked to the nurse and she said, he may switch to Dexedrine, i dont want to because it dexedrine (been there done that) require redosing. Vyvanse last a long time. But is taking 50mg early in the morning and 50mg in later afternoon, the reason is it lasts 10hours.
What do say to him? 100mg, i just know what to do. Go back to dexedrine? oh god.

Be honest with your doc explain to him what is going on and let him decide what doseage he feels is best. Doesn't seen like a month has it been that long? Phillipa
