I have been taking Wellbutrin XL for about a month or so now...I weaned myself off Prozac when I started it and holy hump...I miss my Prozac. Sadly Prozac was turning me into a friggin house so a Dr recommended Wellbutrin, as its known to decrease appetite etc.
But I am slowly slipping back into my BLAH state of existence, it feels like it does absolutely nothing for my mood and I feel like I may as well take nothing at all.

I don't know about Prozac and wellbutrin, but SRIs and wellbutrin are sometimes prescribed together. Maybe a cleaner SRI, like lexapro or celexa? I dunno. Have you tried upping the dose of Wellbutrin (I think the pros call this move "dosage optimization") ?
I hope things work out for you.

Does the prozac still work or was weight gain the reason you stopped the prozac? If it was working no guarantee it will again some just don't. But maybe prozac with wellbutrin? Phillipa

it works, but not like it did originally...i considered taking both but...it seems that they would counteract each other in the weight gain/loss department...
i am trying wellbutrin to see if it can smooth me out a little without making me fatter.
vicious cycle haha
