New to Effexor

Posted by KathrynLex on December 26, 2007, at 18:22:37

I couldn't find an Effexor thread for newbies, so I thought I'd start one. I've been on 37 mg of Effexor XR along with .5 mgs of Klonopin. So far it's alright...but my mind is pretty fuzzy and I'm SO SO SO tired all the time. Did anyone else experience this? Can anyone share their successes or experiences on this drug? I would appreciate any advice from someone who has "been there done that" or is currently going through the same thing. Thanks.

Hi Guys, I've already read through some of the older posts...but I'd really like to talk with someone who is on Effexor now so I can ask questions and compare their experience to mine. Is there someone on the board that would be willing to help me out? Thanks!

There are websites where people go to rate their medications and to post their experiences with them. Last time I looked I think hundreds of people had posted their effexor experiences. Some miraculous, some horrible, some in the middle. Actually no matter which med you look at they are all like that. But it will give you a good look at what has happened to real people with effexor, the good, the neutral, and the bad.

One is called Revolution Health, though I didn't look up the exact web address. A google search should find it easy enough.

Another is called askapatient.com.
