This is the only AD i can tolerate, yet I feel nothing from it while on for 2-3 months. I did get quite the boost from Ritalin, so i wonder if it's working with the Ritalin for that effect.
Provigil i can acctually use and works a bit, so i wonder if provigil/ritalin is the ticket, and drop the wellbutrin
advice appreciated,
Brian

What dosage are you on? Maybe you haven't reached a therapeutic dose yet. I think 2-3 months is a sufficient trial at what ever dosage you are on.

I've been on 300mgs the whole time. I believed I went up to 450 for a day or so, and think it was too much.

Sounds like a fair trial to me what does your pdoc say about the other meds you'd like to add or try? Phillipa

The only moodstablizer i can tolerate is zyprexa, and i even have to take 30mgs. that said, i gained 50 lbs, and blood pressure is close to hypertension. don't wanna get diabetes, as it already runs in my family. all the rest of the anticonvulsants make me more depressed, including klonopin.
I've been reading from the experts that glucophage/ritforman may help with weight gain, which i might try.

Have you tried Nardil or Parnate? Both are fine for bipolar.
Maybe if you tried the higher dose of Wellbutrin for more than a day or two it would settle down without any side effects. Worth a shot.

No worries, hijacking allowed. Well, i can't go up to 450, because i only have 300 xr release pills. I think that we will drop it, and go back to provigil (see how it works w/ ritalin), which worked wonders for depression in conjunction w/ lexapro, but this time to leave out the lexapro (bipolar)

Brian
