Funny thing happened. I have been taking 5mg of abilify for several months, with good success. my moods have been not as swingy and the intrusive thoughts have been somewhat quieted. in the last 2 weeks though, I've been having a really hard time because of psychological issues being stirred up in therapy.
Last night I had a bit of a psychocrisis. I went to hid in bed. Then I got out of bed. finally. in order to take my evening medication. i noticed that the abilify bottle was empty and when I went to get the new bottle, I was totally shocked that the tablet was PINK. I guess pdoc put me on 10mg of abilify. I didn't even know. He must have done this several weeks ago, but I didn't think to use the new bottle until my old bottle ran out.
I feel pretty good this am. not too agitated. a little sleepy, but nothing that a cup of tea won't help.

You might want to check with pdoc's office just to make sure that the dispensing of new dosage was intentional. (I once had a pharmacy fill a scrip with double the dosage of a medication and it would have had a tragic effect had I not questioned the error.)
Just being careful.
Glad that today you're feeling better! That's very good news. (Me, too. Body work and medication helped a lot yesterday.)
