I've recently noticed a few posts of late, of people wanting to boost their Wellbutrin with the addition of other substances. Well this isn't exactly new, but taking a quarter of a tab of Wellbutrin and crushing it down to a fine powder and insulfating it via the nasal route will result in a very fast almost cocaine like high which goes on and on. The trick is to use only a small amount. insulfating a full tab. is foolhardy and could result in seizures in succeptible individuals. The effects via the nasal route are quite definetly distinct( and superior) than the recommended oral route

Because of wellbutrin's similarity to amphetamine, I would imagine such a rapid flucutations in blood level would result in similar patterns of neurotoxicity.
You are risking a seizure, but you are also risking sudden bursts of glutamate release which are neurotoxic.
The very act of getting high may be neurotoxic, as well as introducing the possability of abrupt crashing.
Seeing as this isn't really a board dedicated to methods of getting high, I think you may find some criticism. Many people here are looking for methods of treatment which will result in a more normal state of mood.
Sure, you may be able to travel further down this road, but that doesn't mean it isn't a dead end.
P.S. My friend thought Wellbutrin was an awfully dirty high.

The shortcoming to your recommendation is that Wellbutrin comes in different strengths. When you say a quarter tab, what dosage are you talking about?
