Nardil Discontinued???

Posted by nutjob on April 11, 2007, at 19:55:50

I was prescribed Nardil yesterday, and when I went to fill my prescription at Walgreen's the pharmacist told me that the drug was not currently in stock and that it would have to be ordered. When I returned 24 hours later to see if it had arrived the pharmacist informed me that they were unable to order the drug because it has been discontinued by the manufacturer!?
Of course I know this isn't true! But the question is, how do I go about getting my prescription filled? Anyone have any idea what the problem could be?

Walgreens doesn't seem to have it. I get my prescription from Costco.

That pharmacist doesn't know what he or she is talking about. Nardil has been around for years and has defintely not been discontinued. Just go to another pharmacy
