Long term Klonopin use in addition to an SSRI poll

Posted by deniseuk190466 on April 8, 2007, at 8:37:53

Hi,

Who on here has taken Klonopin long term in addition to an SSRI and what are the long term affects?

Also, what symptoms did you experience on the SSRI alone?

Thanks.....Denise

SSRI's on yes. Multiple bad anxiety on lexapro, paxil at l0 finally worked after three months, cymbalta okay first time nothing for depression, second time horrible anxiety, prozac wired, zoloft nothing at all, effexor space cadet had to quit,luvox only one with no side effects and it must have been working some even at lot doses as I was doing more and more social. All this with a benzo on board. Good luck to you. Love Phillipa

I've taken Klonopin for several years with various SSRI's. I find that an SSRI alone does not work well for panic disorder. If I take more than about 0.75 mg, I find the Klonopin depresses me-but I've seen no long-term effects.

Unless you count the extra hairy arm that grew out of my chest...:>}
