I recently read that Topamax can be effective in treatment of Bi-Polar disorder and am wondering if anyone here is taking Topamax for BP disorder and what your experiences with it are.
I know that we all DIFFER, but I'd just like a bit of feedback about this issue. Thanks.

Thanks for replying. I had read that Topamax is in the class of anti-convulsants also used for anxiety, and just recently things started appearing about Topamax also having possible beneficial effects for BiPolar disorder.
Since I seem to be treatment resistant to what I suppose could be considered "standard" meds for BiPolar, I'm curious to try Topamax, so I'm trying to get a feel for how it might or might not be effective for BP, keeping in mind, of course, that everyone's different so what works for one person may not work for another.
I'm just hoping to get a possible success story or what you posted (that you didn't notice anything) or possible negative experiences with Topamax.
