Ronaldo, others...starting work - remember this???

Posted by becksA on January 29, 2007, at 18:18:19

A while back I was talking about going back to work....the day has come...this thursday. I'm getting more and more nervous by the day. I've been gone for 4 months, I've told them it's because of a knee injury, which it was for 2 months, the second 2 was to get my anxiety under control and get lithium at a good level. my manager says only she knows about the therapy, but im gonna go back there paranoid others have found out.

if you remember i only have to work there for a few months and then i can quit and finish school fulltime, with my own apartment supported by my parents. i just have to get through this time....i wish i could get hypnotised or something. they are horrible people, my bosses. treat us like scum, and the job is incredibly monotonous. sighhhhhhhhhhh oh man

hey
don't let them get to you
it will just waste your energy

remember to breathe deep to calm yourself

when someone stupid is telling you what to do make believe you are very interested in every word they say
and keep us posted

Yeah good luck, I am getting back to the office soon ( been working from home)after a long long break. I am a bit anxious, but after going through the worst depression of my life, I realize how unimportant what some *sshole at the office thinks of me really is..

Plus , hey you are not there long. Grin and bear it and give them the bird on the way out the door : )

thanks...i guess you can kinda relate where im coming from.. i think im more depressed than anxious, because of my job duties, and how they are the total opposite of what i should be doing with the type of person i am. also my bosses treat me like a nobody, despite the fact im twice as smart as them and have all these great ideas on how to better their store, and they could care less what i would have to say should i speak up. so i dont...partially because if they dont respect me, what motivates me to help them out, and partiallly because its only temporary. probably till mid-may. seems like a lifetime though. sighhhhhhhhhh :-/

Good Luck becksA

The waiting is almost over. Maybe the waiting is the worst part of it. When you wait you think too much and thinking is not always good. Once you are actually doing it, however boring it is, you will have less time to think. What time you do have to think you can spend thinking about finishing school and having your own apartment.

Happy thoughts

ronaldo
