Some sites claim that lithium will boost SSRI.
Has anyone tried to combine Lithium + SSRI?
What Lithium dosage worked for you?

>I'm on an SNRI, Cymbalta, and am just starting Lithium as a mood stabilizer. (2nd day, so nowhere near a therapeutic dosage yet.) Lamictal didn't seem to help. I'm BP II.
I have high hopes that this will be a good combo.

this combo sometimes works, but its not the best combo ever. There's also adding another AD, adding a stimulant, adding a benzo-type tranquilizer, adding a low-dose neuroleptic, adding Pindolol, adding BuSpar, or adding in an anticonvulsant, like lamictal.

I think it will work just great for you. I've heard though that you don't necessaily need to hit the theraputic range for it to work. But make sure to drink lots of fluids. And I've heard it is relaxing too. Love Phillipa
