My experience with Celexa

Celexa worked great when it worked. It worked fast. It just didn't work long.

When I went up to 60mg, it was totally fine, but I had some side effects. The most noticeable one was that I was ALWAYS hungry. Gawd I ate and ate and ate... and it was sugar and fatty foods, simple carbs. So, obviously I gained weight. It sucks, I'm back at my Paxil weight. I always got really anxious in the afternoons. Mornings and evenings I was fine. I also noticed that at 60mg it was hard to have an orgasm. I could, but it was a lot of work, more so than when I was on 40mg.

So anyway, I guess I'm switching to Zoloft. I guess we'll see how that works. I'll hopefully keep y'all posted. I've been terrible about coming on here, because I'm in my first year of teaching.

The 40 mg you were on,did it offer any relieaf at all?

Also i dont remeber ssris to well,but is it possable with your docs supervision "of course" to titrate between the two doses as needed?

I ask this because its a shame to leave a drug that works when it seems so difficult latly to discover one.Either way,read your blogs,congrats on the news coverage!
