I haven't been here for a long time,lamictal experience failed. I was very 'hyper' before taking it and have been off it almost 1 yr and have never regained my 'energy'.Started wellbutrin but failed after 6 months..still on 300 mg..Again I 'cycle' in this extremely nauseous... sleep almost 24/7 cycle..happens every 6 wks or sooner. Nobody knows what to do.Missing too much work..and I fear I will get my cycle in Jan. where it stays for 6 weeks.Dr. mentioned serequil or other anti-pyc./or lamictal..which didn't help before.. when I go in Friday after calling him yesterday complaining that I have been 'sick'for eight days now...usually only lasts around 3-4 except in winter. Got light box yesterday.Dx..'strange'kind of bi-polar..have stayed depressed since using lamictal... Any suggestions..desperate....maybe wellbutrin..plus..???? Thanks

Add Prozac? They make a good combination...there is a combination drug with the two of them which I've forgotten the name of...starts with a C (?). Probably better off taking them separately, though. Good luck-that sounds very unpleasant, to put it mildly...

You're welcome-I hope you feel better really soon. I was thinking, Provigil might be a good choice, too. It is highly rated for keeping people less depressed and less sleepy; see this site:

I suggest takeing zyprexa with it. Thats what I do and it works very well.

Thanks...had appoint. this am at 9. He raised wellbutrin to 450 and after thyroid test maybe synthroid. My thyroid always comes back ok in reg. blood work,so I don't know.He wanted to try topamax again but I didn't want to.It didn't stop this cycle when I took it last time. Went to specialist in Balt.last year and he said he's never seen my strange symptoms either. I do appreciate your input. Thanks! After 25 yrs it's getting old!
