I tried Adrafinil in the past with quite good results.
I'd love to combine something with Nardil, to counteract the lazyness and sleepiness!Unfortunatly I've heard of at least one hypotensive crisis from this combo!
Does anyone have any comments?

Did you mean hypertensive?I'm sad to hear that there have been any incidents. I would have thought that the combination would be safe. To my knowledge, Provigil does not act at the NE synapse. Early claims that it was a NE alpha-1 agonist were determined to be in error. Perhaps there has been more recent work to demonstrate NE snyaptic activity. I don't know. It really doesn't matter, though. The induction of hypertensive events with MAOIs are not completely understood, so we are sometimes relegated to judge safety simply by what we see clinically. If one event with Provigil is reported, it goes on the list.
Where did you hear of the Provigil-induced hypertensive event?

Hey ScottI'm sorry I caused a lot of confusion!
Firstly I'm worried about a Hypertensive reaction combining Nardil and Adrafinil.
My mistake!Secondly, to the best of my knowlage, I don't think there's any problem combining Provigil with MAOIs.
The problem is Provigil does nothing for me but make me slightly anxious :(
I'm of the opinion that there's more of a difference between Provigil(Modafinil and Adrafinil than is generally reallised!
Therefore Adrafinil might cause problems, were Provigil might not.

Sorry for the confusion.
Even adrafinil is not a NE alpha-1 agonist. A friend of mine had the opportunity to speak to the developer of the molecule at a symposium several years ago. Still, I couldn't guarantee the safety of the combination. I had wanted to combine Provigil with Nardil or Parnate. Unfortunately, I reacted badly to Provigil. It exacerbated my depression.

I took Provigil(200 mg) with Nardil several days ago just before abandoning my Nardil trial. Although I didn't have a hypertensive crisis, I did have increased anxiety and, perhaps, more depression.
I also took Adrafinil with Parnate about 6 years ago with no ill effects, but no obvious benefit either.
I find it interesting that Provigil increased my anxiety when Adderall at 40mg daily doesn't bother me at all.

That's consistent with what other people reported here on Psycho-Babble a few years ago.

I also felt a darkening cloud, parnates effect did little to nothing, and i had a strong stimulant reaction of the kind where your just up,not a racing and crash, rather i was just up i almost lost my job at the time due to it.
