For the second time in 10 months had to briefly switch to risperdal (this time coming from zyprexa, which was making me fall asleep at work). After 10-12 days on 4mg I could feel something was wrong, I was more irritable, much more insecure, all therapy benefits seemed to have evaporated just like that, and, if you can forgive the daring simile, it felt as if my soul was a dance-club room, but the lighting was all wrong and the spot lights lit strange areas of the ceiling. At any rate, in panic, I did an outrageous 3-day taper-off (3,2,1mg) and started Zyprexa again at the same time. I paid for it with 3 days of terror, and then 12 days of obsessive self-anihilating thinking-loops. The loops seem to have stopped today, and if it is indeed the case that I'm back to good-old Zyprexa days, I'll go celebrate. If they don't, I'll be posting again soon :)
