Hi to all,
I am on a low dose of amisulpride (solian 50mg) daily with my Zoloft 100mg, Klonopin 1mg with 1mg Xanax every other day. I heard somewhere in the middle stopping an antipsychotic may cause psychosis in some patients.(My doc always affirmed me, I am no psychotic) Since amisulpride is an antipsychotic, I am much worried. It is not a drug available everywhere, and I have to shift from places to places.
Important thing I noticed is: I don't have any problems in quitting either Klonopin or Xanax. I can do it fairly easily. A couple of days of discomfort is all that follows. But whenever I tried to wean off Amisulpride, I had terrible anxiety (almost psychic like)and fearful anticipation. Things only got back normal after reinstating the dosage.
What is wrong with me? I stop Benzos (including the most addictive ones) at short notice without any problems, but fails to do with antipsychotics and antidepressants. Are there more like me? Can you help me?
Cheers
