I have something to add regarding Lamictal. Years ago, I used Lamictal to augment my meds cocktail of Prozac, Wellbutrin and Remeron, as my depression was resurfacing. Although adding Lamictal increased the effectiveness of my cocktail, it was shortlived, as my depression had returned in just 4 or 5 weeks.
Currently, my meds are Cymbalta 20mg, Wellbutrin 100mg, Trazodone 150mg, and Lamictal was slowly introduced 6 weeks ago and started feeling better in only 2 weeks. Now, I am practically depression (unipolar) free. I have been on ADs for 15 years and for some unknown reason, they all seem to poop out sooner or later.
