I REALLY need help on these strange symptoms

Posted by bassman on May 22, 2006, at 16:58:30

It just happened again-this is about the third time. Shortly after sex, I start to have an experience where I believe that all my dreams (that I have at night) become clear to me and I see them all and their significance-and I'm both fearful and amazed. It's like stepping into a differrent world. They all make perfect sense and I know that I've seen them before, maybe may times before. When this happens, I'm awake-the last time I had started to jog. So it's not like I'm partially asleep or anything. It is a very spooky sensation-I'm very aware of both what is happening around me, but at the same time, what is happening in my head-the way all the dreams are actually connected; what they mean-a whole world of meaning that I'm not normally conscious of. As the dreams go by for review, I recognize each one and think, "oh, and then such-and-such happens".

It seems VERY bizarre and is gone after about 30 minutes. I also remember very litle of the dreams and the way they connect. I asked my doc about it and she said she'd talk to some of her pdoc friends. No thoughts from them. I take klonopin, wellbutrin, and prozac-but I've had the same experience on other meds. Any ideas?
