I sorta have this problem, which I cannot figure out. I may be overexaggerating or just not patient, but here is the story
My doctor has had me on Klonopin 2mg at bedtime as needed. He also has me on Adderall. Now In December (18) He wrote me 30 2mg klonopins and 3 refills. Ok , so now april 15 is just about when I should be finished. I had a refill jan 16, feb 16, and march 15th.
ON april 5th of this month, I had my appointment, and was given my adderall script , and I said im going to also need klonopin script soon, he looked in the file, and must have seen it was too early yet, so I said, ill call when i need them and he agreed.Yesterday, I called my physicians office and like 2x before, left a message saying need a perscription faxed to my pharmacy, klonpin, and da da da, 3 different messages and no response and called the pharmacy and nothing!! I know they check their voicemail.
HERE IS THE KICKER, Last time I needed a percriiption for another med, i did the same, though advised them id pick it up and within 5hrs, they called me and said its ready.
I called today at 8am, the doctos answering service and they told me my doctor is on call so i relayed another message, i need this. Now they say on the refill message give it 24hrs for a refill to be filled but I didnt even get a call saying ok or when it would be ready. I know a doctor would not ignore this request, knowing Klonpin has a withdrawl, which im starting to feel, last dose was early yesterday.
What are my options, Lets say later on today, and I still dont hear from him or my pharmacy says no script was called in? Can i go to a 24 hr clinic, bring my old bottle and tell them about it, saying i need a partial refill untill i can get to my doctor? My tommorrow, ESP because i take adderall, I will feel extreme panic and muscle tension, which happned to me 2x before yrs ago.?
PS, Is there a chance my doctor is thinking, the bottle says take 2mg of klonpin at bedtime as needed, but if he does the math it looks as if i took one pill each night? And i should have more left? but Id never make it to next week or even may, let alone whenever im suppose to wait ?

Yeah, you could go to the ER or a 24 clinic and explain the problem and ask for 1 week's worth of klono to get the problem resolved. The same scenario happened to me once, with adderall, and the treating physician at the ER had no problem with giving me one week's worth.

Is there an on call doc? And a 24 hour RX. I know Eckert here has them. The Er is the other option. Good luck Fondly, Phillipa
