I'm about to ask my psychiatrist for dexedrine.
WHat version of dexedrine do they have in canada?
Do they have they regular version and the spansule capsules? Does anyone take dexedrine? and what dosage do you take and how many times a day.

Can't answer what you've got in Canada, but I take the regular version of Dexedrine. I just started it, so am not an expert, but it's only OK so far for me.
Started at half a tablet twice a day, so that would be 2.5mg twice a day. Once I got through the initial adjustment, less than a week, went up to 5mg twice a day. On my Long Day in classes, I've tried splitting that dose -- 5mg, 2.5mg, 2.5mg, but that's not great for my sleep. Next week, I'm going to try just separating my doses a little more. Take the second dose around 2PM, instead of 12, something like that. Right now, the second dose is fading about the time my late class instructor gets into swing.
What are you asking for Dexedrine for? That would affect what dose and how often and whether Dexedrine is appropriate at all.

Hi there.
They have both versions in Canada. I was taking the regular form and I took 15 mg all at once. Then 5 mg in the afternoon.
I crash on Dexedrine. When the effects wear off you can feel worse than you did before. Maybe you should ask for the spansules since they are long acting and you might not have that crash.

Hey Racer, that's a low dose you are on. Are you finding it effective. Do you crash on it? Any side effects like you had with the Ritalin?

The regular Dexedrine only comes in 5 mg tablets. The Spansules come in 15 and 10.
