I started Lexapro several months ago for anxiety. The Lexapro seemed to peak and I started regressing. I explained this to my doctor and he prescribed Wellbutrin XL, starting at 150mg and 300mg after 1 week, along with the Lexapro 20 mg. Just wondering if anyone has experience with this combination. Also, I have OCD and I wondered if this combination would help in that area.

i'm on this combo, too. started the lexapro 6 weeks ago, and the wellbutrin 2 weeks ago - currantly at the same dosages you are taking. my dx is major depression and ocd, plus i was having problems with panic and anxiety attacks before going on meds.

Does this combo seem to help? I have noticed that alot of my social anxiety is gone. When I first took the Wellbutrin (I'm still at 150mg), my anxiety seemed worsen for a day or two. Now I have a constant, low-grade headache.

i still have down days, but not nearly so bad. i'm not so terribly as short-tempered as i was either. not much motivation, but that could be partly the winter blahs. can't say anything about the headaches you're having - i live with headache pain almost constantly and have for years. if it's a side-effect, hopefully it'll go away soon.
