Is this good or bad?

Posted by Chrispy_85 on November 2, 2005, at 7:28:54

i've been on effexor for about 2 months and a bit now, and a few weeks ago, my doctor put me on zanax to try and help control my panic attacks. and for the first week, it actually helped a bit, but since then, i have found that i have been taking increasing amounts of the zanax to get the same effect as i had at first. is my body just developing a tolerance to the drug, or am i addicted? i don't know, but i do know that i'm taking twice as much as my doctor prescribed me every day now and i don't think it's a good thing. but at the same time, i don't want to be having 2 panic attacks every day like before. as it is i have about 5 a week, and that's enough for me to handle. any advice?

Yeah, this is a problem. You need to talk to your doctor.
