Does anyone take Tofranil (Imipramine) with a stimulant. I just added Imipramine to my Ritalin.

Cheers

Sorta--I added a tiny bit of Dexerine to my Desipramine for my (treatment resistant) depression. I don't have ADHD. Did you have a specific questions abt this combo?

It did help. I was less depressed and more energetic. It resulted in major dry mouth, though. And it didn't do the job 100%, so I ended up adding Lithium too. That does seem to be working (keep your fingers crossed!!))

Hi.

At the pharmacy I was working at the other day, I discovered ten 30mg methamphetamine ampoules in the safe......... an unexpected discovery. Methamphetamine isn't even approved in the UK.

Methamphetamine ampoules (in liquid form -ie METHIDRINE)? is usually a VERY specialised, very Rare nowdays, med for bringing aroung anathethethised patients, ie sedation, this i thought was a VERY VERY specialised med to USA hospitals, in EXTREME circumstances, far less so than Desoxyn (Methamphetamine tabs 5mg IR tabs-Ovation Pharmaceuticauticals) which are SOMETIMES (rarely) scripted) for Narcolepsy, TR ADD/HD conditions.

Amazing you came across this in GB.

Please tell me more as to why they were there?

Cheers Ed :)

Hi Paul,

>Methamphetamine ampoules

It wasn't Methedrine, it was a generic manufactured by a 'specials' company.

>Please tell me more as to why they were there?

I don't know. Methamphetamine isn't approved in the UK... but docs can prescribe unlicensed drugs if they want to. I guess it was being used for a meth addict, as a safer substitute to street meth.
