Hi guys
I'm on about 40-ish mg of Clozapine now. The last few days have been really bad in terms of tiredness, couldn't keep my eyes open. Today is better.
Hospital is really crap. I've got a new roommate today who said "call me Garfield" when I asked her her name. Riiight.
I don't seem to have any patience. I can't be bothered with the other patients, I have tried but they all kick off at you for saying/doing something wrong. I just wanna be finished in the place.
There are about 5 people in there out to get me, for various reasons. I've told staff but they don't seem to be taking it seriously enough. I don't feel at all safe. It's horrible.
Blah blah blah, that's about all my news. Except that I also keep DROOLING when I sleep. GREEAAT. Very attractive.
:(
see ya

Hi Katie!
>I'm on about 40-ish mg of Clozapine now.
Just out of interest, which brand are you taking? Clozaril, Zaponex or Denzapine?
>The last few days have been really bad in terms of tiredness, couldn't keep my eyes open.
That's definitely normal when you're starting clozapine, especially during the period of dose adjustment.
>Hospital is really crap.
I know, is soooooooo boring. You'll be out soon though :-)
>I have tried but they all kick off at you for saying/doing something wrong.
One woman screamed at me because I forget to say thank you when she told me the time!
>Except that I also keep DROOLING when I sleep. GREEAAT. Very attractive.
Oh dear, the classic Clozaril wet pillow.

Maybe 50mg? The smallest tablet size is 25mg.

I think in psych hospitals it's best to pretend to be as normal as possible as best as you can so that you can get out of there in one piece. Some don't. They are scary places. The ones I've seen.
