With the Maoi patch supposdly making its debut around November this year,is no one else excitied about this?
Linkadge, your about to start a med u dont feel will work already, having been on imiprimine (MY GOD IS THAT POSION?)i feel ur frustration. Are you perhaps intersted in this new comming patch?
Unless im wrong wont this be the first medication, aside from the benifit of being an Maoi that will release medication into the BLOODSTREAM during the course of the ENTIRE day?I know there are xr anti depressants, but this still seems like a step forward.
I personaly am looking forward to it,got the 800 number to call monday somerset and inquire (bug them) about its release etc.

I am very interested in an MAOI patch.
It would at least be a drug that a doctor would consider prescribing. Most doctors here won't prescribe regular MAOI's.Linkadge

I wondered if you might tell me a little more about how imipramine affected you? Did it give you any cardiac problems ?

I wish i could offer a more positive response since your heading on one.Unfortunatly it did nothing. One thing i can give it is it did not make me feel extremly worse or like i was going MAD as the ssris did.
My depression still existed on it,now and then there was a glimpse of what eh seemed like a anti depressant effect, but overall it dident lift any depression .
On a positive note i took it a very long time ago,and i knew nothing about possable augments,or adjusting dosages, also i dont remember any problems whatsoever when i stopped it,unlike say effexor where i thought i hurt my brain forever.
Keep us posted on ur progress!
