My Oh My...
Methinks Lexapro is helping...still have the dysthemia but I'm not so suicidal.
It's not as agitating as celexa ..don't care about lack of orgasms.
Not feeling so hostile either I'm nicey nice again.
Don't think it would have the same effect without neurontin.
Crossed fingers.
Treatment resistants do get a break eventually.
I'm off now to repair the space shuttle.Slinky with happy perkys

Hi Slinky,I'm fixing to switch from Celexa to Lexapro, too. (Still ahving a lot of anxiety on Celexa). How long did it take for the Lexapro to start helping? What dose are you on?

Hi Marsha..
I've been taking 20mg for nearly two weeks .
I started on 10mg for one week before I moved onto 20mg
There seems more balance in allieviating the depression and anxiety, usually for me it's been one or the other.
My libido is ok..on celexa it was dead.
There is some fatigue but in my med experience fixing the anxiety doesn't come without the fatigue.
Hope this helps some..

Yeah, that's the kicker. Meds for depression cause anxiety and meds for anxiety cause depression or tiredness. I've had no libido on Celexa either. Maybe the Lex will help that. I'm assuming that ou didn't have increased start up anxiety when switching to Lexapro. I've heard that can be a problem but I'm hoping that since Celexa is so similar, it won't be a problem. Is 10mg Lex equal to 20mg of Celexa?
