My pdoc said it was unusual to get dry mouth from risperdal, but I know we're all different. He made me feel like a freak, actually, but I'm sure others have gotten it as well. Anyone else get dry mouth from risperdal and what did you do to help with it? Did it go away after a while, get worse, get better?

LOL
He so wrong.
Actually, it really isn't funny.
The dry mouth will most likely improve somewhat with time, but might not totally disappear. Because it is important to salivate throughout the day to prevent tooth decay (saliva contains natural antibiotics and helps to maintain pH), you might want to find some sugarless sucking candy or gum to maintain salivation.
