Hi - I'm on nardil AND nortriptyline, which make my mouth incredibly dry.
I used salagen for a while, but it gave me hot flashes which were embarrassing.
I'm starting behanachol -- has it worked well for anyone's dry mouth? Does it also give hot flashes? I know it's supposed to help with urinary retention (good thing!).
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

i've just started taking risperdal and its giving me dry mouth as well as a burning like sensation. i never knew there was something to take to create more saliva; any info on these meds or others like it would be great to know about.
