Often I feel like Frankenstein walking around. Anyone else experience this? Trying to find out if it is a problem specific to benzo withdrawal, or fits into the whole anxiety mold.

Once I cold-turkeyed valium, a sleeping pill, and alchohol. I felt like I was on a boat walking in slow motion. Thank God I didn't have a seizure like the pdoc said I would. Fondly, Phillipa

Anyone else walk around like there are weights on their ankles? Am looking for people that have this that ARE NOT in benzo or tolerance withdrawal. Sorry for any duplication from any other threads, but really want to know. Thanks.

If I'm correct it sounds like you are talking about the phenomena of "Thorazine Shuffle", named for mental patients who are overmedicated in hospitals.
