provigil augmentation prevents adderall poop out?

Posted by scatterbrained on April 19, 2005, at 0:57:14

Just out of pure desperation, and after adderall pooped out, I decided to augment my adderall with 100mg provigil, which happens to be lying around and it seemed to help. The strange thing is,I can tolerate the provigil fine w/ the adderall but have had a terrible reaction to it when I tried it without the adderall, (most likely because adderall acts as an antianxiety for me).Has anybody taken adderall with provigil? If so, what doses were you on? Does it have a lasting effect or is it just as bad as adderall in regards to tolerance?Ohh yeah, does it build up in the way that antidepressants do so that you don't acquire it's optimal effect for a few weeks, or is the first dose the same as the next dose?

Concerta and Provigil here, 54 and 200, first dose same as the next.
The tolerance thing I am viewing different, maybe my inside-out thinking or I am actually healing myself. The meds are changing my behavior which then result in reinforcing or awarding. The perception of gaining control reduces the need and amplifies the effect of the Provigil.
