hi,
i have been on a combination of wellbutrin and nefazodone (serzone) off and on for the past 5 years (currently on 150 mg wellbutrin xl and 200 mg nefazodone, daily a.m.). i've tried many anti-depressants over the years and this combo works best for me. sometimes though, usually after i have missed a dose, i take them and i feel stoned like i can't find words to express myself and can't function in general (also feel hot but not sweaty, perhaps due to the anticholinergic effect of nefazodone). it's not like mania (where ideas flow freely). i feel good emotionally but suffer from cognitive impairment, which i gradually regain throughout the day. does anyone else experience this? do you think it could be due to an interaction with food or to dehydration?on a side note: am i the only person here who feels awake/alert after taking serzone? it keeps me up for hours if i take it at night, and i have trouble waking up without it.

Sounds like a paradoxical reaction to the seroquel. Sorry I can't help with the other. Fondly, Phillipa
