The risk of a child developing major depression (MDD) who has both a parent and a grandparent who suffered depression is much higher than for those who had only one of these previous generations affected. In children, it is common for anxiety to appear before depression.

Thanks for the info! As the article said, it was something we intuitively knew but without proof it is just theory.
In my family it is a reality.

I have my mom(MDD), her mom and her mom's sister (my grandmother and grandaunt), my mom's sister(MDD), my cousin(BPI)...
And then the other side of the family is all ADHD!!
