ANYONE WHO HAS USED IMPRAMINE??

Hi,
My pdoc is considering putting me on a tricyclic, tofranil (impramine) for my generalized anxiety disorder with mild depression. I am on 40 mg of celexa and 600 mg of Neurontin which doesn't seem to help at all, not to mention my clonopin.
Has anyone used a tricyclic for anxiety successfully?
I have been on every class of drugs except tricyclics, even mao's with no help.
Any suggestions would be so greatly appreciated,
