Hey all,if anyone has read any of my posts, you would know i have skated the fine line of Maoi interactions numerous times.
Parnate at this point is almost becomming insignificant,no matter how much i take, whether a low amount on a given day,or unusualy high amount, its as if its not even being absorbed, the only purpose of taking it at all at this point is without taking it period,i either have withdrawals from it,or possably just my oringal condition flaring up,regardless it went from a potent mood ehnancer to a mood stablizer, and a poor one at that.
I dont want to waste anymore of it,im also frustrated on trying to augment it,so i am seriously considering giving nardil another run.
I am nervous because last time i tried it i wasnt not working at the time,so i wasnt concerned about how longit took to work,if it would evern work at all.
Now however i do work, and i rely on the parnate to simply get me through the day at work,so im hesitant to start a med in fear of loosing my job,i am not in a postion to take any time off.
With this,as well as because A i already have done it,as well as B never really thought the law applied to every med, will not be able to have a washout period,i will if i switch over do so in about a day.
With my first concern,im thinking back and remeering i had my most recent and robust postive,no ABSOLOUTLY postive WONDERFUL effect to parnate last year in the two day span period of switching back to it,from nardil.
I saw someone post on it,im trying to find it,was recent, but im wondering if done cautiously, and dosing spanned apart really well,if its possable to take both, reasonably of course, finding a safe dosage, and time to take of each.
I dont know, its a lot to think about, but i do know that by nothaving a two week washout period,i instead had one of my most robust remission two days in years,i attended job interviews and played video games, god id love to feel relaxed enoug to feel BORED a feeling alien to me,bored enough to want to play a game, and not instead go wash my car again.
Any ideas on the two,or other ideas period,i am still intersted in a parnate augment, but i dont want to have to have any more meds prescribed,or order anything else, one thought i did consider was SamE,reason being i use vivarin sucesfully with parnate now,as well as i rember when i was on a natural kick i used SamE and again had a great innitial response when i went back to parnate,so its either these combos,or simply the break from parnate is allowing me to achive such a high therputic effect from it when i re-start it,....anyway all comments are welcomed!

You might want to try to augment Parnate with Adderall. I know, that all the literature claims that it shouldn't be done, but I am currently taking 40mg of parnate + 40mg of Adderall a day (as per doctors suggestion) and see no ill effects whatsoever. In fact, for about 2 weeks after adding Adderall, I was feeling amazingly well. As time went on, I started feeling just tolerable, but it's still a big improvement compared to my usual state.
Good luck with the job,
Tychka

Thank you for responding,i was scared there for a moment since i got nothing.I would not mind trying adderall at all, however i dont see anyway possable of managing to have it prescribed to me.
At this point im spiraling downard, the parnate doeses seem to be going right through me,i cant work out any more,i feel week, and i have terrable cravings for cigarettes.I dont know what to do at this point, kinda frightining, worst case ill have to try kava since i need to augment this drug asap.
This is the end of the thread.
