They work well for depression [lifts mood] but leaves me feeling extremely 'hyper' physically and emtoionally. Also makes me. to a lesser extent, irritable, grumpy, and unable to concentrate...
Any thoughts?

wanna hear sothing crazy ever scince iv been on effexor iv been fiending for speed and opiates alot more, like all the time. and i also experiance stronger add symptoms even though it works for my deppresion. my honest opinoin is that scince ssris tend to lower dopamine i think this may be a cause for some of your ADD like sysmptoms.

Hello...
I've never felt hyperactive on SSRIs but they do shorten my attention span.

I started taken lexapro 10 about a week in a half ago was already hyped before but now i cant sit down do alot but dont know if anything is really getting done if that makes since causin me not to be able to sleep at night am racin so much startin to forget important things like my sons school pics felt so bad!!! guess its better than being sad
