I am going to take half a 35.7 mg tonight . i am absoloutely terrifed but i do need it.. any advice? i will be taking it as i am going to bed, from what i remember when i had it many yeras ago i used to wake up with a clenching jaw.. and felt as if i was on extasy which wil be a g ood thing this time round to help me with my sp ...
ok just need some motivation to take it.. i am absoloutely terrifed of meds since i stopped remeron and the withdrawl i had from it which i stil lsuffering 3 mnths on ya know brain fog, nervous wreck and depression.. ?

> thanks AGAIN xx---REASON y i chose this again is because i have read so many posts tht it done wonders i just wanna try it and i have had it in the past even though i had anxiety after i started it.. The reason why i am terrifed now is because i am afraid of the affects it may have on my brain :-S i wont die i know just a little scared i am only gonna start with half a 35.7 dose fora few days see how i get on... my anxiety will be very high this week i know i am just gonna have to think positive . wish doc would give out klon ..

OK, now stop for a moment: **WHY** did you experience anxiety on Effexor when you took it before? Oh, yeah -- because you took five times your prescribed dose because you wanted to get high. Before that, it was working for you, from what you said.
Good luck, Donna. As I recall, Effexor XR gave me a nice start: very calm feeling for the first several days. Cymbalta gave me a similar sensation. I hope that that calmness will counter your anxiety.
