Does anyone have any idea when Lyrica is going to be released in the US? I know they received approval from the FDA, I wonder what the holdup is?

The only message from the Pfizer web site is that "We are continuing to work closely with the FDA during the ongoing regulatory review to finalize indications and labeling". Of course, it would behoove Pfizer not to fight the FDA on the GAD indication, since history is replete with examples of compounds that have safe and effective uses beyond their FDA indications.
Besides, all it will take is for a patients with comorbid diabetic neuropathy and GAD to realize and report that both were treated safely and effectively and then the game is on.
This is the end of the thread.
