Geodon and anxiety question

Hi,
I (and apparently some others on this board) have found Geodon to help with anxiety, sort of remove the avoidance blocks in daily activities...I'm trying to understand what may be the action of Geodon that helps with this (in the hopes of switching to something with less brain-fog reaction).
Anyone know what Geodon does that possibly alleviates anxiety?
And-- has anyone had personal experience in comparing Abilify vs Geodon in terms of brain fogginess?
