I have been on wellbutrin 150 mg twice a day for quite some time now. I had dreadfull myoclonus whenever I tried anything that increased serotonin. At first the wellbutrin was energizing but now I find it almost makes me feel sleepy. I wonder if I need even more dopamine. Has anyone had their psych doc give both ritilin and wellbutrin together. My family doctor prescribes the wellbutrin and he usually is hesitant to try anything unusual or new.

I've been on Wellbutrin SR 150 mg twice/day with ritalin (then switched to adderrall). and Wellbutrin XL 300 with adderall.
I think it's the ritilin or adderall that doesn't work. I still lose things, put milk in the oven, forget the combination to the security door at work, etc.

I liked it best of all because it seemed so clean. It cleared my foggy brain and seemed to be gone by the time I went to sleep. I had gone to an adult ADD specialist and he prescribed it. Although my family doctor continued for awhile to prescribe it I always felt he really didn't feel I needed it. However, he had no qualms whatsoever to give me the wellbutrin???? I may try to ask for it again. I wish you luck with your search for improved "thinking".
