I have been on Effexor for about four years. But I have been depressed lately, accompanied by panic attacks, the panic attacks are far worse than the depression. However, the depression and panic episodes have not been as bad as I am sure they would have been had I not been on Effexor. But today I tried some meditation technics that I just did that I saw on TV - like humming and breathing deeply and meditating on my simple body movements like breathing in and out. It seems to releave some of my anxiety and panic. I am a Christian and have always been told that eastern meditation technics were wrong. But I did not feel like I was doing anything wrong, and it seemed to help. What does anyone else think?
