I'm obsessing again, crazy. Basically, the other day at the gym I was doing tricep extensions above my head with a dumbbell. Well, the last rep got a little hard, so I had to kinda roll the dumb bell down off the top of my head. Is this kind of weight /pressure on the top of the head damaging? It was about 40 lbs, and I didn't drop it. I just kinda bumped it lightly while trying to get it down. Now I'm freaking out the pressure on my head, or the bump, caused cognitive damage and that because of this my memory is getting weak... help! I'm obsessing to the point of extreme anxiety! Is this irrational?
Also, is Zoloft supposed to help these kind of obsessions/anxiety? My pdoc put me on 50 mg yesterday to augment by 80 mg of Celexa.

Don't worry about it and assume you are normal. You may want more medicine of the right kind to eliminate these type of worry. You will have to tell me when you find that med. Also sounds like you could be in withdraw from one med and onset of anouther. Hopfully you will feel normal soon. If not the zoloft is the wrong med. Personaly I find Zyprexa to be the most effective med I take. I also take 60 mg celexa, and 400 generic wellbutrin sr.

Once my meds were giving me a little serotonin syndrome and I became very anxious and hyper (and felt very warm in rooms where it wasn't hot at all). I felt almost manic. If you are worrying like crazy and not acting like yourself, give your pdoc a call.

>I find Klonopin makes it so that I don't care that I have problems. I stop going to this board while I take it. I don't obsess about my problems. So I stop coming to this board. And I stop repeating myself. =)
As you may notice, my doc is "waiting" for me to explain to him Lexapro isn't working until I go back on it.
This is the end of the thread.
