I'm about to start a 10 mg/day treatment of Buspar to counteract the side effects of Celexa. It has been enough of humiliations, missed opportunities and feeling and behaving uncomfortable for me. I can't be limitated by hours, viagra doses and medication dose acrobacies. I'm still young and single. My whole attitude towards the opposite sex and my confidence have been affected. Besides, I have tried other kinds of AD's apart from SSRI's and I couldn't tolerate any of them. So I'm now willing to try this alternative. I hope this works.
Could anyone enlighten me about this medication (Buspar)? What important things should I know about it? Does it really work? Will it make me addicted? How long does it takes to work? What specific aspects does it improve (eyaculatory retardation, erection, libido, anorgasmia, refractory period)? Any information will be very welcomed.
It's not like I'm a porno star or a depraved, but this issue has really been affecting my life quality since a long time ago, and I'm still 26.

Well, just started the Buspar yesterday at 5 mg. twice a day. It does work a lot for erectil dysfunction and shortens the refractory period (the time needed to recover), but it doesn't seem to help the way I enjoy it (libido).
About anxiety, yesterday I didn't feel like it did me really anything, except mayby increased sweating. Today, though, I'm waking up feeling quite nervous and uneasy, but not too much.
Overall it's working quite well.
