I have seen everybody talking about cymbalta lately, seems like everyone is lovin it! I have been through efxr, zoloft, lex, and now wellbutrin, and have yet to find one that is very effective or lacking negative side effects. Apparently cymbalta is pretty new but all the reports seem to be glowing, is this something available at most pharacies now? Would you recommend it? Thanks!

It's a new SNRI that's been on the market in the US for just a few weeks. It acts on serotonin and norepinephrine as does Effexor, but apparently without the "threshold" for norepi action Effexor seems to have. It's being marketed pretty heavily, perhaps as much because Lilly needs something to replace Prozac as because it's an interesting new option. And let's face it, if you're reading this chances are you're still looking for something that "works" so another option is almost certainly good news!
