i was recently hospitalized. I asked the doctor why my wellbutrin hasn't been upped. i'm on 300mg xl. He said that for my weight(146LB)that was the max dose recomended. I never heard of that before. Is that possible?

My p-doc has said he increased my Wellbutrin XR due to max recomended doses so to speak. Every med I have taken with the exception of Strattera has been based on recomended doses.
Strattera was adjusted by my weight.
Something I noticed about Wellbutrin is that it had a rate of diminishing return for me. We brought it to full allowable dose and it was the same as 300 mg.
